If you are a member of a Charitable Organization within the community and are looking for a place to host meetings or support groups, we can assist you by providing a space in which you can educate the community about your service or organization.

Are you looking for a location to hold that meeting, book or movie group? We can assist you with a meeting place in a comfortable environment.
The Chapel
Chapel Furnishings
Approximately 150 guests can fit comfortably in the 150 chairs.
The chapel is fully wheelchair accessible.
Permanent fixtures such as the front podium shall not be moved.
The Fireside Room
Fireside Room Furnishings
Approximately 44 guests can fit comfortably at the 11 tables.
With limited additional seating,, if necessary.
Miscellaneous
Staffing
Burquitlam Funeral Home will provide a Facility Attendant who will be during the use of the space. The Facility Attendant will be responsible for opening the chapel, adjusting the temperature and lighting, answering questions, handling emergency situations, supervising set-up and clean-up, and assuring that rental policies are followed. The Facility Attendant will survey the chapel after the event and write a deposit refund recommendation.
Burquitlam Funeral Home does not employ event coordinators, staff musicians, photographers, wait staff or a minister. It is the responsibility of the Renter to provide their own officiates, musicians, etc. we can provide a referral list available upon request.
Hours and Availability
We are here to serve the bereaved first and foremost so rental hours are limited to Monday through Saturday from 5:00 pm to 11:00pm.
Prohibited Activities
Burquitlam Funeral Home does not permit alcohol on the premises.
We are a smoke-free organization and environment: Smoking is prohibited within the building and Renter shall make guests aware of this policy.
With the exception of candles within the chapel, no flammable items (i.e. sparklers or fireworks) are permitted. .
Any events or meetings that would disturb our neighbours or violate any laws.
